Learning, Branding and Buying

Hey Peeps,

I'm back.  Found a cool video interview between Marlo Thomas and tech expert Jennifer Jolly.  You'll find "some of the best ways for the technologically challenged to improve their skills. From how to guides to tech classes, you have to hear about these resources. There's never a better time than now to start mastering something new! And be sure to take a look at some of Jennifer's must-have tech apps and gadgets..."

Now lets talk about you.  You as a professional.  What are you doing to make your mark in business?  If you take a logo quiz you'll know a fair amount of the symbols, you recognize the brand.  What about YOUR brand?  Ever thought about that?  You need to differentiate yourself from the rest of the pack.  My suggestion for the week is to check out 360°Reach.   You can get access for 15 days, set up the questions (you have a couple choices) and send the survey to as many people as you'd like.  They fill it out anonymously and 360°Reach will compile the results for you to see.  You can also upgrade your account for under $50 and get a specialized report.  The insight you gain about yourself will be priceless because you'll not only learn what people perceive as your weaknesses but also where your strengths are!

You can check out these resources to find out why personal branding is so darn important!

And finally, something you might find amazingly cool - LOOTCRATE!

This is how it works...You sign up (there are a couple different options but lets say you're just going month to month) and give them your CC # which they charge for less than $20.  Around the middle of the month you get sent your crate and that becomes the best mail day in your house - right up there with comic book Wednesdays, or Billy Madison's "nudie magazine day".  You open the crate up and there are a bunch of awesome products.  You smile.  The end.  If you're interested sign up for a month - what do you have to lose?

Over and out!
April
